Schools Competition Supporting The Hampshire Country & Garden Festival
Do you or your child/ren attend a Hampshire prep or primary school?
Are you or your child/ren in Years R-8?
Would you or your child/ren like to participate in a fun art competition whilst supporting The Hampshire Country & Garden Festival and The Hampshire Medical Fund?
If the answer to any of the questions above is YES please read on!
The Hampshire Country & Garden festival team are working with Hampshire prep and primary schools by offering every child the opportunity to purchase a competition/activity pack for £5.
In this pack, amongst lots of other fun things to do, we are asking the children to draw a flower design for our 2021 festival competition. The flower design can either be based on a real flower or be an imaginary one. Submissions of artwork are needed by 21st May and should be handed in to your form teacher or as directed by your school.
Each school will choose a winner and a runner-up from KS1, KS2 and KS3 (if applicable). Every winner and runner-up will receive a free family ticket to our festival on Sunday 27th June! Once the winning artwork from all participating schools arrives at our festival headquarters, it will be judged and admired!
The Result – the winning design will be cleverly turned into a limited edition festival shopping bag to be given out to all visitors on Sunday 27th June.
The money raised from participating will go directly to The Hampshire Medical Fund charity supporting the fundraising efforts towards the neonatal departments of Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester NHS hospitals.
We would love it if you or your child/ren’s school would support this local cause and have lots of fun doing it!
Packs will be delivered to schools the week commencing 3rd May so don’t delay in telling your school and getting involved! If you or your teacher has any questions please email us as quickly as possible – email@example.com
We hope to hear from you soon and happy creating!
